General Liability & Service Expectation Policy

  • If you experience pain or discomfort during the session you will immediately inform your therapist so that pressure/strokes can be adjusted to your level of comfort. You will not hold the therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort you experience during or after the session. 

  • You understand that massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, improvement of circulation, and energy flow.

  • You understand that the service offered are not substitutes for medical care. You understand that the therapist is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental health.

  • You affirm that you have notified your therapist of all known medical conditions and injuries.  

  • You agree to inform the therapist of any changes in your health and medical condition. You understand that there shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should you fail to do so.

  • You waive and release your therapist from any and all liability, past, present, and future related to massage therapy and bodywork.

  • You understand that you will be released as a client if you exhibit any behavior deemed rude, inappropriate, or unacceptable by the therapist. This includes but is not limited to electronic, indirect, and in person communications.

  • You understand that all services offered are non-sexual in nature and law enforcement will be contacted immediately if suggestions or advancements are made of such nature. No future appointments will be accepted and legal action may be taken against you in the event of a session being terminated due to physical violence or sexual inappropriateness.

General Liability & Service Expectation Policy

  • Due to the nature of tattooing, it carries with it known and unknown risks and possible complications including but not limited to: infection, allergic reactions, scarring, inconsistent color retention, spreading, fanning, and/or fading of ink and/or pigments. Medical emergencies such as infections and allergic reactions are outside the artist’s scope of practice. Your physician should be contacted immediately if you suspect any complications. Indications of these complications may include but are not limited to: redness, fever, swelling, rash, blistering, or dryness on or around the procedure area or anywhere on the body.

  • Tattooing is an artistic process and not an exact science. Each person’s body will have a unique reaction to the procedure and may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired look. The length of time the pigment is present in the skin cannot be guaranteed. The true, healed color will not be known until approx 1-2 months after each procedure. Several treatments may be needed in order to attempt to achieve your desired results.

  • Failure to strictly follow pre and post-procedure instructions may jeopardize your ability to attain your desired results. You understand there is no liability on the artist if you neglect these instructions.

  • The artist must be notified of all known medical conditions. Clearance from a physician will need to be provided and/or consent forms will need to be signed (if applicable) before a procedure can be performed. You agree to inform the artist of all health and medical conditions and any changes in your health and medical conditions. You understand that there shall be no liability on the artist's part should you not do so.

  • You understand that you will be released as a client if you exhibit any behavior deemed rude, inappropriate, or unacceptable by the artist. This includes but is not limited to electronic, indirect, and in person communications.

  • Due to the nature of piercing, it carries with it known and unknown risks and possible complications including but not limited to: infection, allergic reactions, scarring, body modification, rejection, and/or expansion and sagging of skin. Medical emergencies such as infections and allergic reactions are outside the piercers scope of practice. Your physician should be contacted immediately if you suspect any complications. Indications of these complications may include but are not limited to: redness, fever, swelling, rash, blistering, or dryness on or around the pierced area or anywhere on the body.

  • Piercing is an artistic process and not an exact science. Each person’s body will have a unique reaction to the procedure. The reaction the body has to the piercing and cosmetic aesthetic appearance on the body cannot be guaranteed. The healed results will not be known until your piercing is healed. Each piercing carries a different healing time. approx 1-2 months after each procedure.
